Country artist Redferrin, born Blake Redferrin and a former professional motocross racer, will headline an exclusive concert kicking off the 45th running of the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship Presented by AMSOIL at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, roughly 65 miles west of Nashville, event organizers announced.

The concert opens the 2026 Monster Energy Country Music Festival on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the ranch owned by the late country music star Loretta Lynn, which has hosted the amateur motocross national final annually since 1982. Redferrin’s background as a former pro racer turned Warner Music Nashville country artist is central to the event’s billing, MX Sports said.

The championship is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association and produced by MX Sports, Inc. Tim Cotter, director at MX Sports, is listed as the event’s organizing official. The amateur championship is a sister event to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship and SMX World Championship series.

MX Sports directed inquiries to its website, www.MXSports.com, or by phone at (304) 284-0101, and pointed to the event’s social channels under the handle @LorettaLynnMX on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

The amateur national final has been a fixture at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch since 1982, drawing competitors from across the country to the property owned by the late Grand Ole Opry star for a week of racing each summer. Pairing the motocross championship with a country music festival extends a tradition of blending the sport with Nashville’s dominant music industry, using a headliner with direct ties to professional racing to open the week’s events.

**Why it matters for Middle Tennessee:** The event brings thousands of amateur racers and their families to Hurricane Mills each August, a recurring economic and tourism draw for the region west of Nashville along the Loretta Lynn’s Ranch corridor.
