Produced by Jason Sill and recorded at Grand Street Recording in NYC, Holy explores themes of resilience, transition, and the complexities of friendship. With soaring vocals, gripping lyricism, and an atmospheric soundscape, the track has resonated deeply with both longtime New York fans of the band and new listeners alike.
The Holy music video, released today, brings the song’s coming of age story to life. Made of “home videos” spanning over 6 years of friendship, the video gives a picture of what it is to grow up with someone and love one another through it all.

Raising Daughters ain’t for the weak. The country folk duo, led by Josette Axne and Hallie Riddick, interrogates the ever changing role of a daughter. Grounded in sound that is “reminiscent of The Staves and Indigo Girls with lots of harmony and humor” (Laura Shine, Louisville public media), the Daughters strive to bring perspective to conversations of girlhood, coming of age, and legacy. Hallie, a Kentucky native, and Jo, a Coloradoan born and raised, melded their musical backgrounds and histories to create a nostalgic and rooted sound. The Daughters lived in New York City from 2021-2025, and captured audiences across the boroughs with their striking harmonies and exacting lyrics. Over the years, Hal and Jo have developed a strong friendship, and that trust and bond drives their work today. As they always
say, “we may not be blood, but we’re sisters.” The Daughters are now based in East Nashville, TN and released their newest single, Holy, in May 2025.
