The Iroquois Steeplechase has been a Nashville staple for over 75 years. This horse race attracts more than 25,000 people each year, providing all of the grandeur and status of a Triple Crown event, but on a smaller, more manageable scale. Steeplechase racers from all over the world come to Nashville to compete, with the revenues going to local organizations as part of a fundraiser. Since its inception in 2002, the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has attracted some of the greatest names in the music industry. Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival

The Country Music Awards Music Festival, often known as CMA Fest, is also quite popular and takes place directly in the middle of downtown. The festival offers a chance for some of country music’s biggest names, as well as some talented up-and-comers, to put on a show in front of a packed house. The four-day tournament is primarily conducted at Nissan Stadium, the Tennessee Titans’ home stadium. In fact, more than 40,000 people visit Nashville each year solely to attend the Nashville Film Festival, which has been voted one of the greatest in the country.
