KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — No. 10 Tennessee volleyball snapped a two-match skid Friday night at Food City Center, blanking Mississippi State 25-20, 25-14, 29-27 and collecting the Lady Vols 13th sweep of 2026.

Kennedi Rogers paced the attack with 19 kills while hitting .341. Jalyn Stout turned in a double-double, 10 kills and 15 digs, and added a pair of blocks. Chelsea Sutton returned after sitting out both road matches last weekend and contributed nine kills with two blocks. Maggie Dostic finished with 12 digs and two aces. Caroline Kerr handed out 34 assists with eight digs, and Anni Tang led the front line with five blocks.

Tennessee finished at a .354 clip with 55 kills and just 10 attack errors on 127 swings. Mississippi State posted 39 kills and hit .223 with 12 errors on 121 attempts. The first two sets belonged to the Lady Vols early, but the third stayed jammed. The Bulldogs held set point twice late before Tennessee closed the frame 29-27.

The result moved Tennessee to 17-5 overall and 8-4 in SEC play. Mississippi State dropped to 17-6 and 7-5. For head coach Eve Rackham Watt, the night also delivered milestone wins No. 100 at home and No. 100 in conference play after the Lady Vols had dropped consecutive road matches at Texas A&M and Missouri.

Sutton presence in the middle helped Tennessee control the net again after a rough road weekend. Rogers kept answering late in the third set when Mississippi State briefly seized the lead, and Stout and Tang teamed on a key block as the Lady Vols erased set points and closed the sweep in front of the home crowd.
