History
Music Row's recording industry identity dates to the late 1950s when producer Chet Atkins and the 'Nashville Sound' transformed the city into the dominant recording center for country music. By the 1960s, the Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, and Elvis Presley were all recording on the Row.
