NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Parthenon in Nashville Centennial Park will host two Halloween events this month: a candlelit concert of spooky classics on Oct. 25 and an adults-only costume party on Oct. 30.

Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics takes place Sunday, Oct. 25, at 8:45 p.m. inside The Parthenon. The program mixes classical music, movie themes and seasonal favorites, and tickets start at $36.22 through the event organizer, Fever.

The concert is part of the international Candlelight series, which stages live performances in distinctive venues lit by candlelight and has expanded to hundreds of cities worldwide. Its Halloween shows use the same format with darker, more atmospheric music.

Five days later, Centennial Park Conservancy will host Night at the Museum, an adults-only Halloween costume party at the Parthenon on Friday, Oct. 30, from 8 p.m. to midnight. The after-hours event includes vinyl DJ sets and spooky tours exploring dark Greek mythology and the haunted history of the building.

Guests can enter individual and couples costume contests, with prizes that include front-row seats to an upcoming Candlelight concert at the Parthenon. The night also features tarot card readings, a photo booth, local vendors and complimentary food. A cash bar will offer $3 drinks from 8 to 9 p.m.

Party tickets are $30 for individuals and $50 for couples, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit Centennial Park Conservancy. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite.

The Parthenon is the world only exact-size replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. On regular days the museum is open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
